Google TV or Apple TV

I just watched the september keynote for apples new products, since I work in retail I wanted to know about some of the stuff I am selling and not only did I love the new ipod line up I was surprised when they annouced the new apple tv. It's tiny looks great plays hd, and best of all its only $99. With a price like that how could you pass it up? Well I watched the whole thing and thinking back on it now it seems like you can rent movies for like $5 and rent tv shows for $.99. That was the big selling point. Along with that you can stream your itunes libraby from another computer and use your phone to watch a movie then share it with your apple tv to have it appear on the tv. All this stuff sounds cool. $5 for a movie is not bad $.99 for tv shows is even better but it seems like its still pretty basic I dont see alot of intergration with other services such as your cable etc.

Google TV however seems like its all about intergration with everything having a million built in apps so that you can do anything you can. You can search for a tv show and it will show you the next time it comes on show you youtube videos about the show the shows website. Downside of this is its a little more complex and it cost $299. I dont know whether I want something thats really stripped down that only serves a few purposes or something that can do ALOT but could become a little complicated and messy with the keyboard that you have to use.

I dont know I like both of them maybe I should just get both. :)
